Like the birds fly the sky and the fish swim the sea
Loving you is natural to me
Like the rose loves the Sun and the leaves love the tree
Loving you is natural to me.

Bhagavan, Bhagavan,Bhagavan
Mohan Datta Guru Bhagavan

Please take this Life, which is already Yours
And use it for whatever You agree
You’re the Heart of us all and because You exist
Freedom becomes natural to me.

Yatra with Mohanji

I have a desire to be able to go with Mohanji and the family on pilgrimage to Mount  Kailash. This time it seems not possible in a physical matter, but my mind and heart are with you. The connection is what is most important, I realise that every day; in His presence is a pilgrimage. It turned out to be a poem.

Yatra with Mohanji
(on the Road to Kailash and everywhere else)

It is just a feeling
Is it your grace again?
That is guiding me from within
And is calling me to walk with you

Still the road hidden, and my vision a bit dim
But the Path that we follow is Bright
Be aware, Just a single step can change the course of a life
But by grace Your footprints glow in the night

So walk in peace and walk in Grace
Surrender yourself to the One
Who is going nowhere but stays in a place
Of Stillness Beyond the Beyond

Now it does not matter where I’m going
Does not matter what I’m going through
All the People’s faces
all events and places
even what I thought to be me
turns out to be only YOU

Loving You Is My Weakness

This is yet another poem inspired by Mohanji
being with him is like the Rasa Leela, eventually we forget ourselves.

Mohanji, Bosnia Kriya Intensive 2019 (9a)

Foolish girl tell me why you cry
When saying Hello or saying Goodbye
Don’t you know it’s just a part of life
After all, Separation is just a lie
The light still exists when you close your eye

The stars will be shining long after we are gone
The night is a place of calm
The Truth of our Love has no duration
This life, by grace you were gifted
the beauty of Love in Separation

Love is the weakness that leads to liberation

A Man I Know Of

Mohanji, kriya intensive in Bosnia 2019 (17)

There is a man I know of,
who works tirelessly every moment,
he gives all he has, and then some more,
touches many a heart which is open,
Is he a reality, the mind questions,
but there is no mistaking his actions!

There is a man I know of,
who empowers all those who look to him,
often with his own flesh and blood,
with no thought of its effect on his own resources,
how is he made this way, I often wonder,
because there is no logic to his generosity!

There is a man I know of,
who shines bright like a thundering lighthouse,
without a care for the fate of his safety,
just so he can guide the tossing ships,
lost in the darkness of the stormy seas called life.

There is a man I know of,
my heart swells up when I think of his nature,
I feel sad and happy at the same time,
for I know he will go unnoticed by many,
until, all we have is his legends.

There is a man I know of,
and I am honoured to have met him in person,
for time can do what it wants with him,
but I know I will find him forever,
in the deepest corner of myself.

Eternal One

Eternal one - a devotional poem by Ulla Bernholdt inspired by Brahmarishi Mohanji

Please open my eyes, shut my mouth
That I may surrender you
Thought, word and action
My every doubt.

My Lord please turn me into a River
A River of your Love
That springs from your Eternal Source
You are the Unconditional Giver

Turn me into a  Mountain
A Mountain of Faith
That I always be firm,
that I always be straight

Light in me your Fire
The Fire of Conviction
Let it burn this one to ashes
until there is no contradiction

Para Brahma

I hear your silence like a ROAR
Like cracking waves on my inner shore
Your play resembles the ocean tide
Now you are here, and now you hide.

I feel your presence hotter than the raging sun, but ever so cool
Your stillness leads me beyond all duality of
This darkest mind and that happy fool

I see you reside in every leaf, the grass, the sky
Your form is that of beauty
Yet your real form is Love, unseen to the eye

Unchangeable though never the same
Immovable but flexible
Unbendable but all merciful
Simple but Indescribable
One but everywhere
You are here my Master
You are here

My Gurudev

I have nothing to give you
Nothing to add
What can I give you, that you don’t already have

I have nothing much to say
All songs have already been sung
early birds in the morning praise you with brilliance
each day the sun comes along

In my dreams I’d be a flower in the garland around your neck
There, close to your heart I could hear your breath
That sweet sound of life itself
might bring about a happy death.

Then throw the garland in the river
Let me flow along the stream
Until the river meets the ocean
And there’s no One left to dream.

A Tribute to Mohanji

The poem this morning happened spontaneously as a response to the Mohanji quote of the day and within 5 to 10 minutes it sort of made itself appear. I cried when I read it:

“I had always loved you. I love you every moment. I love you through thousands of living beings around you. I love you through everything, every material, space and time. I am LOVE. And I give you all I have.”

Suddenly I found myself in your garden
How did I come here Beloved, I asked ?

No need to ask what is that Rose?
Just enjoy the beauty while it’s still here
Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice sincere !

Soon enough that Rose is gone
The petals spread upon the ground
Though the fragrance of it
you cannot forget.

Soon enough you will be gone
Memory lost next time you’re born.
But the Master, He can never forget.
Life after life
His fragrance leads you to that garden of Love.

How did we come here Beloved ?
The fragrance you cannot forget,
the truth is that you never left.

Walk with Him If you Dare

Mohanji - photo in Delhi - poems inspired by Mohanji - walk with him if you dare by Lata Ganesh

Life is but a mysterious mix
Of Joy and Sorrow unknown
You cannot wish to be joyous alone
Without an encounter with sorrow
But you can face Joy and Sorrow
Spiritedly if you
Walk with Him if you Dare

Life is but a mysterious mix
Of Success and Failures unknown
You cannot wish to be successful always
Without a clash with Failure
But you can face Success and Failure
Alike if you
Walk with Him As you Dare

Life is but a mysterious mix
Of uncertainties abound
In Gratitude for His Grace
That holds my hand in triumph
And grasps my hand in failure
Unconditional Love as I
Walk with Him and I Dare
